Competition Overview:
This is an online submission competition leading to an on-ground event, where you will compete against some of the best Poomsae athletes. The competition is designed to test your Taekwondo skills and help you prepare for the upcoming in-house on-ground competition later in the year.

No need to be at the event in person initially! You can submit a video of your Poomsae performance from home. This makes it easier for students all over Malaysia to participate. All you need is to record your performance and send it in!

To ensure you are ready for the competition, we will hold focused training sessions from May 1 to May 18, 2025. These sessions will guide you step-by-step in perfecting your techniques, with expert feedback from ATSA’s best instructors.

To ensure a smooth and fair competition for all participants, here are the important dates you need to remember:
Registration Deadline:
All participants must complete their registration by April 24, 2025 to secure their spot in the competition.
Training Session:
Our dedicated training session will be available from May 1 to May 18, 2025. This will help you refine your Poomsae techniques and get prepared under expert supervision.
Video Submission Deadline:
You must submit your video recording by May 19, 2025. Any video submitted after this date will not be accepted, so be sure to complete this on time.
Result Announcement:
The result announcement will take place on May 25, 2025. Throughout the day, all participant videos will be judged, and the results will be announced.
ATSA Online Taekwondo Competition 2025 - Open for all ATSA Student
A NATIONAL LEVEL CHALLENGE AWAITS!
Training Session
To help students prepare for the ATSA Online Poomsae Competition, we will open special training slots from May 1 to May 18, 2025.
Students may request their master to check their performance after regular class or check the available training slots at each branch. You’re free to attend the session at any branch that fits your schedule.
Please note: These training slots are optional and not compulsory, but we strongly encourage students to make use of the opportunity to refine their techniques and gain confidence before submitting their video.
The extra training sessions are optional and not compulsory.
If you would like additional practice, you may refer to the training schedule provided and choose the sessions that suit you.
Competition Category :
The Competition category is based on belt level, each belt level will be perform taeguek based on following:
White (10th/9th kup): Taeguek 1
Yellow 1 (8th kup): Taeguek 1
Yellow 2 (7th kup): Taeguek 2
Green 1 (6th kup) : Taeguek 3
Green 2 (5th kup) : Taeguek 4
Blue 1 (4th kup) : Taeguek 5
Blue 2 (3rd kup): Taeguek 6
Red 1 (2nd kup): Taeguek 7
Red 2 (1st kup): Taeguek 8
Poom : Koryo
Black : Taebaek
Age Group Classification (Based on Year of Birth) :
At ATSA, the student's age is determined by their birth year, not their birthday date. This means we calculate their age as of the year 2025.
Competition Submission Process
How to Submit Your Video Recording
To enter the competition, all participants must follow these guidelines when submitting their video recording:
Video Introduction (for all submissions):
At the start of your video, you must include the following details:
Full Name
Age
Belt Rank
School Name
Hold a placard with this information clearly displayed at the beginning of your video.
Video Guidelines:
The video must show your full body with full uniform at all times (no cropped or incomplete shots).
You may record the video indoors or outdoors, but it must be in a well-lit area.
Video Quality: Ensure the video is 720p or higher and filmed at 60fps for the best viewing quality.
No Music: The video should be silent; no music allowed in the recording.
Where to Upload:
Upload your completed video via the official ATSA WhatsApp number. Make sure to submit your video before the May 19, 2025 deadline.
